Medford Water is seeking a Water Treatment Operations Specialist III to join our team!
The Water Treatment Operations Specialist III is responsible for performing skilled preventative and routine maintenance of facilities and equipment, and various skilled duties related to the operation of water treatment facilities. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma/GED and 3 years experience in water treatment or distribution. Oregon Water Treatment Operator Level 2 Certification with Filter Endorsement required with ability to obtain WT Level 3 within six months. This is a Union position.
Compensation Benefits

Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Leave
Employees accrue vacation starting at 96 hours per year, and receive 3 personal holidays per year; Medford Water recognizes 9 paid holidays. Additionally, 40 hours of paid sick leave will be provided, following the Oregon Sick Time law. Employees will also accrue up to an additional 56 hours of sick leave, and in September 2023, employees will also receive up to 12 weeks of sick leave (if eligible) per the Oregon Paid Leave Oregon law.
