Hydro-Excavator Truck for Sale

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Medford Water Commission (MWC) is offering to sell the following surplus vehicle to the highest responsible bidder:1998 Vac-Con® Truck.

MWC will receive written sealed bids endorsed “Vac-Con Truck”, on the Bid Form, until 2:00 pm, local time, Tuesday, September 9, 2014, which will be publicly opened and read at 200 S. Ivy St., Room 177, Medford, Oregon.

The vehicle is described as follows: 1998 V350THC Vac-Con Truck with L8501 chassis; Caterpillar 3126, 250 HP motor mated to Allison MD 3060; 6-speed automatic transmission; chassis has approximately 21,426 miles; total engine hours 3,636; 8.2 cubic yard debris tank; 425 gallons of water storage; includes Ingersoll Rand 185 Compressor, and four (4) suction tubes. The truck is in working condition and has been maintained by the dealer and municipal fleet services.​

Vehicle is offered for sale AS-IS and WHERE-IS, without warranty or recourse against MWC as to conditional state.

Facsimile (FAX), email or late bids will not be accepted. MWC may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of MWC that it is in the public interest to do so.

TERMS: Payment by the successful bidder shall be made in full by cashier’s check only, with acceptable identification, within seven (7) calendar days following notification of award. The property must be removed from
MWC premises within three (3) days of payment.

The purchaser shall bear all costs relating to the removal of property and shall, during the process, hold the MWC harmless against any claims for damage or bodily injury asserted by any person engaged in the removal activity. If property is not removed within allowable time frames, the property will be re-advertised or sold to the next highest bidder.
