UPDATED NOTICE: Water Boil Advisory Lifted for Kaitlin Lane

NOTICE
Boil Water Advisory Lifted

MEDFORD – A small number of specific Medford Water Commission customers in the Kaitlin Lane area were notified on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, of a loss of water pressure in the distribution system resulting from a depressurized water main and as a precaution were advised to boil their water before drinking it.
 
The Commission has received sample results for those 8 service addresses under the Boil Water Advisory, which show no bacteria present.

 
The Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for all addresses
and it is no longer necessary to boil water.
 
The advisory was a precaution for our customers to limit risk to health from any possible harmful bacteria. We thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time and apologize for any inconvenience.

MEDFORD - A varios clientes específicos de la Comisión de Agua de Medford se les notificó ayer de una pérdida de presión de agua en el sistema de distribución como resultado de una línea principal de agua despresurizada y se les recomendó hervir el agua antes de beberla.
 
La Comisión ha recibido resultados de muestra para esas direcciones de servicio bajo la advertencia de agua hirviendo, que no muestran ninguna bacteria presente.
 
Se ha levantado el aviso de agua de hirviendo para todas las direcciones 
y ya no es necesario hervir agua.
 
El aviso era una precaución para que nuestros clientes limiten el riesgo a la salud de cualquier bacteria dañina posible. Le agradecemos su paciencia y cooperación durante este tiempo y le pedimos disculpas por cualquier inconveniente.
