REMINDER: Notice of Public Hearings - System Development Charges
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Medford Board of Water Commissioners will hold public hearings on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 12:15 p.m. to consider modifications in System Development Charges (SDCs) for Water Treatment and Transmission Facilities, East Side and Southwest High Level Systems as follows:
- Proposed increase in SDCs for Water Treatment and Transmission Facilities from $1,660.27 to $1,698.41 per Equivalent Residential Unit.
- Proposed increase in SDCs for the East Side High Level System from $8,094.16 to $8,254.77 per acre.
- Proposed increase in SDCs for the Southwest High Level System from $9,046.93 to $9,226.45 per acre.
If approved, the effective date is October 1, 2020. The public hearings will be held during the regular meeting of the City of Medford Board of Water Commissioners, convening virtually through video and phone conferencing, to comply with Executive Order No. 20-16. Details for participating in the virtual meeting will be provided on the meeting agenda. Verbal and written comments will be accepted. Written comments should be submitted via first class mail or email before 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. We strongly encourage the use of email to ensure it is received by the deadline; email comments or public hearing testimony pertaining to this agenda item to water@medfordwater.org. Be sure to include your name, address, and phone number. All comments pertaining to this item received by the deadline will be provided to the Board at the meeting and submitted as a part of the public record. The Commission is not responsible for comments received after the deadline. All interested parties are invited to attend the meeting.
