Air in Water Due to Mechanical Issue on Transmission Line - 12/05/20

Medford Water Commission is currently experiencing a mechanical issue with a 24″ valve on one of the transmission lines from our primary water source, Big Butte Springs. This issue is creating an excess of air in the water, causing it to appear cloudy.
This cloudiness is due to air bubbles and does not impact the high quality of our water, which remains safe to drink throughout our system.
In addition to Medford water customers, this message also applies to properties within Central Point, Eagle Point, Phoenix, Talent, Jacksonville, and White City.
