INVITATION TO BID: DUFF WTP OZONE EQUIPMENT & START-UP
Notice is hereby given that Medford Water Commission (COMMISSION), by and through its Board of Water Commissioners, will receive electronic bids marked “Duff Ozone Equipment and Start-Up for the Medford Water Commission” until 2:00 p.m. Local Time, Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Our office is closed due to the current pandemic. Therefore, all bids must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a time stamp no later than the specified bid opening time. All bids must be complete and must include all requested components of the bid submittal packet and any addendum. Bids will be publicly opened and read by Andy Huffman, Capital & Special Projects Coordinator at 200 S. Ivy St, Room 177 in Medford, OR 97501 via Zoom conference call. All bids will be filed for public inspection following the bid opening.
Bids received after the time established for receiving bids will not be considered. Facsimile bids are not acceptable. All bids shall be submitted as set forth in the General Specifications and must contain a signed Bid Form. COMMISSION is not responsible for bids submitted in any manner, format or to any delivery point other than as required by the Bid Document.
NOTE: on Friday, February 12, 2021, Bid Documents will be available electronically for download at no charge at www.medfordwater.org. Follow the link on the homepage, under Doing Business and Bids marked DUFF OZONE EQUIPMENT AND START-UP, then select ‘click here for plans’ under the Plans column. Contact Mark Depner, Purchasing Agent at email@example.com or 541-774-2459 to register and obtain the login password. Bidders shall be responsible for all costs related to printing and reproduction of Bid Documents. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, hard copy documents will not be available. Bidders who obtain their Bid Documents only from plan centers, or by means other than the COMMISSION website, are responsible for ensuring they have all addenda, which will only be available online; they will not be registered or appear on the list of planholders and will not receive notifications from COMMISSION regarding this Invitation to Bid.
No charges for packing or drayage, or for any other purpose, will be allowed over and above the price quoted herein. Bid price shall be FOB delivered and include delivery costs to the Robert A. Duff Water Treatment Plant at 8301 Table Rock Road in Central Point, OR 97502 as well as start-up at that facility.

Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident, as defined in ORS 279A.120. A sample contract is included. COMMISSION does not guarantee any amount of work as a result of this Invitation to Bid. COMMISSION reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in a bid or in the opening and may cancel the procurement in accordance with ORS 279B.100. Award of the procurement will be subject to approval of the Board of Water Commissioners.
