REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: BIG BUTTE SPRINGS FOREST THINNING SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that Medford Water, by and through its Board of Water Commissioners, shall receive sealed proposals until 2:00 p.m. Local Time, Wednesday, October 25, 2022, at the MEDFORD WATER office, 200 South Ivy Street – Room 177, Medford, Oregon 97501 for providing the following:
Non-Commercial Forest Thinning Services
Big Butte Springs Watershed
Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered. Facsimile bids are not acceptable. All proposals shall be submitted as set forth in the proposal documents and must contain a signed Proposal Submission Form. Medford Water is not responsible for proposals submitted in any manner, format, or to any delivery point other than as required by the proposal documents.
NOTE: on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022 proposal documents will be available electronically for download at no charge at http://www.medfordwater.org. Follow the link on the homepage, under Doing Business and Proposals marked BBS Forest Thinning Services, then select ‘click here for plans’ under the Plans column. Contact Craig Harper, Watershed Administrator, at craig.harper@medfordwater.org or (541) 774-2453 to register and obtain the login password.
Proposers shall be responsible for all costs related to printing and reproduction of proposal documents. Proposers should check the website regularly until closing to avoid missing any Addenda, which will only be available online. Printed proposal documents will not be mailed by Medford Water. Proposers who obtain their proposal documents only from plan centers, or by means other than the Medford Water website, are responsible for ensuring they have all addenda, which will only be available online; they will not be registered or appear on the list of planholders and will not receive notifications from Medford Water regarding this Request for Proposals.
The single point of contact for questions regarding the Request for Proposals, proposal process, clarification, proposal acceptance process, protests, or any other issues that arise, is Craig Harper, Watershed Administrator, at (541) 774-2453 or craig.harper@medfordwater.org. Each proposal must contain a statement as to whether the proposer is a resident, as defined in ORS 279A.120. Proposals shall include the signed Proposal Submission Form as well as the signed Appendix E - Itemized Pricing Sheets and placed in a sealed envelope endorsed "Proposal for BBS Forest Thinning Services"; Attention Craig Harper, Watershed Administrator, 200 South Ivy Street – Room 177, Medford, Oregon, 97501. Proposers will be selected based on best value to Medford Water. Medford Water does not guarantee any amount of work as a result of this Request for Proposals. Medford Water reserves the right to select more than one proposer. Medford Water reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in a bid or in the opening and may cancel the bidding process in accordance with ORS 279B.100. Bid acceptance will be subject to approval by the Board of Water Commissioners.
