Calendar Contest Winners To Be Announced December 15th

To pique an early interest in water conservation, Medford Water kicked off our first annual calendar contest for students of the Medford School District and White City earlier this fall.
Starting with the 4th grade, we rolled out the contest by asking students to create a drawing that illustrates what water means to them and why it is important to conserve. We coupled the contest with a presentation to bring an even deeper understanding of water conservation. Seven schools in Medford and White City participated; 142 submissions were received, and 12 will be selected by a committee to include in a 2023 calendar, which will be provided to the students and schools.
Winners will be announced December 15th, and will also receive some great prizes, all sponsored by Medford Water! We hope to expand this program in the future, to educate students and show them that water conservation can be fun and rewarding in a multitude of ways.
