Medford Water Commission won Best Tasting Water in Southern Oregon in a competition held by the Southern Oregon Subsection of the American Water Works Association's Pacific Northwest Section. Members of the subsection represent utilities ranging from small community water systems to systems serving over 100,000 users in Coos, Curry, Douglas, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, and Lake Counties.

Entries are judged by a panel of volunteers and ranked on criteria set by the American Water Works Association.

This award makes our organization eligible to compete in a region-wide competition, which includes participating water utilities from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, and continues a tradition of providing drinking water of the highest quality to our customers.
