SAVE THE DATE! Rogue Disposal & Recycling’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Day will be held Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.
This is your chance to safely dispose of your household toxins and keep them out of our water sources; everything from drain cleaner and weed killer, to bleach, household batteries, and bug spray. Preventing pollutants from going into our waterways—such as down the sink drain or through storm drains, which flow into streams—saves on water treatment costs and makes the water more hospitable for the fish, wildlife, plants, and humans that depend on it.

As #FixALeak Week comes to a close, remember that you can still check for leaks all year long! For instance, when it’s time to start up your sprinkler system, check for broken sprinklers or nozzles spraying in the wrong direction. Also check the zones and run times. You may even want to consult an irrigation professional or contact our Water Efficiency Team for a FREE sprinkler survey. We’ll have more information on surveys and tips when the watering season begins!
If you haven’t checked for leaks yet this #FixALeak Week, use this list of handy fundamentals to help you get started. It only takes 5 minutes to find and fix leaks that might be wasting water and money. Get them all done in a weekend, and you can sit back and relax, knowing you’re using water wisely and not paying more than you need to on your water and energy bills! 💧💪
