INVITATION TO BID: BIG BUTTE SPRINGS WATERSHED LOGGING SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that Medford Water Commission (COMMISSION), by and through its Board of Water Commissioners, shall receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. Local Time, Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the COMMISSION office, 200 South Ivy Street – Room 177, Medford, Oregon 97501 for the following services:
Big Butte Springs Watershed Logging Services
Bids received after the time established for receiving bids will not be considered. Facsimile bids are not acceptable. All bids shall be submitted as set forth in the Bid Documents and must contain a signed Bid Form. COMMISSION is not responsible for bids submitted in any manner, format, or to any delivery point other than as required by the Bid Documents.
NOTE: on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, Bid Documents will be available electronically for download at no charge at http://www.medfordwater.org. Follow the link on the homepage, under Doing Business and Bids marked Big Butte Springs Watershed Logging Services then select ‘click here for plans’ under the Plans column. Contact Mark Depner, Purchasing Agent, at mark.depner@medfordwater.org or (541) 774-2459 to register and obtain the login password. Bidders should check the website regularly until closing to avoid missing any Addenda, which will only be available online. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, hard copy Bid Documents will not be available at the COMMISSION office. Contractor will need to make arrangements to produce their own hard copy. Bid Documents will not be mailed by COMMISSION. Do not include excise tax. Where required, exemption certificate will be furnished. No charges for packing or drayage, or for any other purpose, will be allowed over and above the prices quoted herein. Bidders who obtain their Bid Documents only from plan centers, or by means other than the COMMISSION website, are responsible for ensuring they have all addenda, which will only be available online; they will not be registered or appear on the list of planholders and will not receive notifications from COMMISSION regarding this Invitation to Bid.
The single point of contact for questions regarding the Invitation to Bid, bidding process, clarification, award process, protests, or any other issues that arise is Craig Harper, Watershed Administrator, at (541) 774-2453 or craig.harper@medfordwater.org. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident, as defined in ORS 279A.120. An asbestos abatement license under ORS 468A.720 will not be required of the contractor or subcontractors. Bids are to be submitted on the Bid Form and placed in a sealed envelope endorsed "Bid for Big Butte Springs Watershed Logging Services"; Attention Craig Harper, Watershed Administrator, 200 South Ivy Street – Room 177, Medford, Oregon, 97501. Contractors will be selected to provide services based upon qualifications and bid evaluation; COMMISSION does not guarantee any amount of work as a result of this Invitation to Bid. COMMISSION reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in a bid or in the opening and may cancel the procurement in accordance with ORS 279B.100. Award of the procurement will be subject to approval of the General Manager and the Board of Water Commissioners.
