Water service for several customers near S. Oakdale Avenue at W. 8th Street will be disrupted Saturday, August 20, 2022, from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. so that Medford Water crews may make final repairs from a water main break that occurred on August 17th. Impacted customers are currently being notified; please see the map below for the general area.
WHEN: Saturday, August 20, 2022 from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: The area around S. Oakdale Avenue at W. 8th Street (see map below; properties in and surrounding the shaded area may be impacted).
IMPACTS: Water service will be out for these customers and street access in the immediate area may also be impacted.
Affected customers can let their inside cold water faucets run for several minutes after service is restored to clear any dislodged particles or air in the pipeline. As always, we attempt to minimize the inconvenience related to water main breaks and repairs, and sincerely appreciate the patience of impacted customers.
