One of Medford Water’s key partners is the Rogue River Watershed Council (RRWC). Four watershed councils in the upper and middle Rogue River Basin merged to form the RRWC, which covers more than 2,500 sq. miles of the basin, including all of the area that drains to our water supply intake on the Rogue River near TouVelle State Park.
RRWC is a non-profit organization that works to improve water quality, restore instream and streamside habitat, and encourage community members to become stewards of the Rogue River and its tributaries. The efficiency and capacity of the four individual watershed councils has been increased through the merger.
