Notice is hereby given that Medford Water Commission (COMMISSION), by and through its Board of Water Commissioners, shall receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. Local Time, Monday, March 21, 2022, at the COMMISSION office, 200 South Ivy Street - Room 177, Medford, OR  97501 for the following services:

Big Butte Springs Line Roads Crushed Rock Delivery and Chain Spread Services

Bids received after the time established for receiving bids will not be considered. Facsimile bids are not acceptable. All bids shall be submitted as set forth in the General Specifications and must contain a signed Bid Form, a signed Byrd Anti-Lobbying Certification form, a signed Non-Discrimination & Resident Bidder Certification form, and any signed Addenda, if issued. COMMISSION is not responsible for bids submitted in any manner, format or to any delivery point other than as required by the bid document.

Follow the link on the homepage, under Doing Business and Bids marked BBS Line Roads Crushed Rock Delivery and Chain Spread Services, then select ‘click here for plans’ under the Plans column. Bidders shall be responsible for all costs related to printing and reproduction of bid documents. Hard copy documents will not be available at the COMMISSION office.  Bidders who obtain their bid documents only from plan centers, or by means other than the COMMISSION website, are responsible for ensuring they have all addenda, which will only be available online; they will not be registered or appear on the list of planholders and will not receive notifications from COMMISSION regarding this Invitation to Bid.  Bidders should check the COMMISSION website regularly until closing to avoid missing any addenda, which will only be available online.

No charges for packing or drayage, or for any other purpose, will be allowed over and above the price quoted herein. Bid price shall be FOB delivered and include delivery costs to the worksite at 2383 Brophy Road in Eagle Point, OR and continue approximately 12 miles northeast toward Butte Falls, OR.  Work shall be completed within a two-month period of time from start to finish, weather permitting.  Leveling and track in services of the crushed rock will be solicited separately.
COMMISSION will be seeking Federal Emergency Management Agency funding for this project.  Bidders are encouraged to review the sample contract and Oregon Statutory Public Contract Provisions included in this ITB to be aware of FEMA requirements for Contractors.

COMMISSION does not guarantee any amount of work as a result of this Invitation to Bid.  COMMISSION reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in a bid or in the opening and may cancel the procurement in accordance with ORS 279B.100. Award of the procurement will be subject to approval of the Board of Water Commissioners.
