Do you want to learn more about Medford Water's Capital Hill Reservoir Replacement Project, and why it is so important to safeguarding the drinking water for over 140,000 residents of the Rogue Valley?
Our Frequently Asked Questions about the project are available here.
Medford Water will replace the approximately 100-year-old reservoirs at our Capital Hill facility by 2030 for earthquake resiliency and to help prevent failure of this aging critical infrastructure. This project is still in an early phase of research and design, with construction years away. We want to be good neighbors, and our team has been busy speaking with residents around the reservoir site to learn how we can mitigate construction impacts and design the project to improve the area.
This FAQ document will be updated frequently and expanded as we learn more, to address questions that residents have throughout the process. To learn more and to sign up for updates on this project, go to the project page here, and scroll to the bottom of the page.
