Table Rock Road and Vilas Road Intersection Nighttime Work to Begin the Week of March 4-8

In February, construction began on our Table Rock Road Pipeline Construction Project, which will install a new 42" water transmission pipeline along and under Table Rock Road, approximately 18,000 feet from our Robert A. Duff Water Treatment Plant (north of Kirtland Road) to Vilas Road.
As part of this work, construction activities within the Table Rock and Vilas intersection will begin the week of March 4th-8th, taking place at night to ease daytime traffic issues and lasting approximately a couple of weeks.
Following that, day work will continue from Vilas Rd. towards Kirtland Rd. and our water treatment plant. We will minimize impacts as much as possible, but these activities will result in temporary lane closures and traffic delays. Please drive cautiously and be aware of changes to traffic patterns.
The new water pipeline will provide a seismically resilient connection from our water treatment plant to our distribution system, and provide additional transmission capacity to support our growing community. Construction is anticipated through January 2025, and we will provide more information as it becomes available at our project page: medfordwater.org/tablerock.
